Has anyone noticed that their is a picture of it on HMF. I was under the impression that it was extinct.
Also is HMF under danger I notice they have a new series of request or what ever you call it before you log in.
Not “under danger”, Adam. Steve (the owner) continually works to upgrade and refine the site. The most notable recent improvement I can point out is the ability to finally upload more than one photo of the same rose simultaneously. I hated having to sit and pump in multiple photos.
Wouldn’t it be lovely if someone still had Xerxes? It would definitely be a museum piece. There are now so many superior Hulthemias out there. (Thanks, Jim!)
I was a little shocked when I saw a picture on the page for Xerxes. I wonder if some one really has it. Or if it is one of the other Hulthemia hybrids.
I am glad to here that HMF is still safe. This is one of the best plant reference sources out there.
