I decided that it was probably time to tally up the results from last year’s crosses.

So there are tons of mystery seedlings from the dumped tray. These are probably:

What have you noticed about Paintbrush and John Cabot in your seedlings?

In all honesty, nothing yet… Things are a bit tight space wise in my basement and there is no rhyme or reason to how the pots are arranged. Let me get them outdoors and then I might have something to say…

Jadae, I started poking around the seedlings this evening. One of the P. Celebration x Paintbrush seedlings is blooming - single light yellow/cream, no mossing present. There is another one with a bloom forming that appears to have some mossing.

I also tracked down some of the Paintbrush x John Cabot seedlings - they all have a fair number of prickles on them, not too surprising. One of them looks like it will be a mini. Oh yeah, and there is one that looks like it has mossing forming.
