Today it is raining, but that hasn’t stopped me from hybridizing. During between rains, I pollinated Cologne with the pollen of Elina, and Queen Elizabeth with the pollen mix of Linda Cambell and Dresden Doll. And I also did a cross of R. kordesii X Tuscany. I covered them with sandwhich bags right away, but now I would like to know if they make it through. I’m afraid trapped moisture would render the pollen useless. Now another question.
How important is it to cover a rose after pollination? Did a few crosses of Belle Isis and Queen Elizabeth, and forgot to cover them before going to work. Thanks,
