As many times as it was used in the past, is the old floribunda Pinocchio still worthwhile as a seed parent?
I heard that it has been a remarkable parent, and I think Ralph Moore still uses it, or at least many of his stud parents are decendents of Pinocchio.
I think it would be. A lot of floribundas have descended from it. Mixing updated matererial with it could bring about some interesting results. Also, a lot of FL’s are very HT like. I think it would be a good canidate if one is looking to create more ideal FL’s. Overall, I cant see any negative points with giving it a try.
