Tried new stratification method-Regret

Being quite disgusted by the sheer volume of mildew that appeared during stratification on paper-toweling, I have switched to coffee filters this year. They seem to hold together better as well, and folded into quarters like this, are easily pulled out in their entirety if necessary. So far, they aren’t mildewing as fast as the paper towels…

(Fingers crossed.)

I dusty seeds with captain before I put them in the frig

Did you soak them in peroxide? I donl for 30 minutes and use white construction sand in little bags. I have totally no mold and seeds sprouting two weeks out of the cooler.

You soak in pure peroxide? Additionally the sand could be a good idea. Some of my seeds have come out the fridge this week. Wish me luck!

In my first wave of seeds coming out the fridge my Aicha crosses have just gone back in for a cold cycle for 2 weeks as there have been no germinations out of x27 seeds. For my Charles De Mills crosses I have had a few, a lot from OP Marbree & X2 from Indigo. Strong start!
