I can only confirm that - in my view - T. Kimura is a serious breeder and breeds intensively in direction of blue roses. I follow him in the FB, too. I wouldn’t make any suspects about photo manipulation. He has a big rose farm and regularily updates on his work. He has a significant amount of seedlings to choose of. I think, he mentioned something like 96000 per 1 greenhouse. I do not know exactly how many greenhouses he has.
Anyway. This rose in a true blue color is indeed fascinating, although it is not exactly “my type”. I would give it a try, definitely.
