Nuits de Young has scented foilage, but it is far more pronounced in the younger leaves.
Very many old European OGRs as well as quite a few HPs and early HTs have scented new growth as well as scented sepals and peduncles. I once took a cousin through my garden demonstrating to her how many roses were so scented. She teased I was the only person she knew with a “scratch and sniff” garden.
