Seeds from white rose

I am a researcher (novice to the Rose world) who is planning an experiemnt involving white roses. I am very interested in obtaining at least 100 seeds from a white rose cultivar or species. If I have seeds from several cultivars with pure white petals and known pedigree, and more seeds (1000 - 2,000 each) it would be awesome.

Does anyone know if there is a place (way) to get rose seeds from? A seed company? Anyone of you guys?

Any information will be much appreciated.

Thank you.

Rosa rugosa alba might do the trick.

Without giving away exactly what you are doing, it might be helpful to know a few more details. There are a number of folks here that have done research and are involved professionally with genetics. I just don’t happen to be one of them.

yup. I would go with rugosa alba also. the seeds can be had from ebay easily.
