Rose rootstock seeds

I am interested in grafting my seedlings on to vurus free rootstock. Unfortunately, I don’t know how to obtain any! I have heard that the viruses cannot be passed through seeds. Does anyone know of a source of roostock seed? Rosa Odorada or any other?

Thanks…steve fritz

Steve Singer at Wisconsin Roses sells Multiflora “virus-free” rootstock seedlings. They are $20.00 for a bundle of 25.

My R. multiflora plant has some hips; let me know if you (or anyone else) wants them.

These seeds have a high germination percentage.

Resulting plants will be variable: some smooth stemmed, some thorny.
