Pumice

I just finished planting the first set of my 2006 seeds. I used zip lock bags, pumice and a little water for the refridgeration process this time around. It seems to have worked better than other ideas from previous years. They had no dehyrdation/freeze-drying. Mold was very minimal–less that 5%. I wrapped the seeds in “natural” coffee filters on a few bags. They came out good as well. I think they would have molded if I went 4 months instead of 3, though.

At any rate, I think I will be doing this next year. It was cheap, easy and successful.
