OOOKkk, Paul…and what are they telling you to do now…?
Is DSCO 187 some sort of pitcher plant? That is really unique.
I don’t know if it’s told Paul what it is yet. hehehe
Cephalotus follicularis, a monospecific genus from south Australia. One of the most fascinating species I have had the pleasure to cultivate. See: C. follicularis

Her name is ‘Audrey’
Hi Paul G, best wishes for success with those seeds to get good stippling in a repeat bloomer!
Hi Paul B, that’s an amazing plant! Looks like you have to watch your fingers around that one!
Thank you George. I think this will be a floribunda or miniflora.
Hey Jim, think you could put a “Halo” around it?
Sorry Kim,
I just noticed your comments on the stippling of Hawkeye Belle x Ark-OP and Hot Wonder x 1T20. The stippling in the first one came from Ark-OP. It’s an OP seedling of a stippled R.arkansna that David found in western Minnesota. The stippling is not very prominant in Ark-OP but shows up clearly in it’s offspring. The stippling in the second one came from 1T20, it’s white and doesn’t have any stippling, but one of it’s parent is 1B30 and that was stippled so that 's where it came from. IB30 is one of the parents of David’s Oso Happy Petite Pink that’s highlighted in the summer 2011 issue of the Newsletter. I have two full siblings of the HW x 1T20 and two half siblings (Folksinger x 1T20) & (Grimaldi x 1T20) that have stippling as well. The great thing about 1T20 is that it’s has very good BS resistance and passes it on to it’s offspring.
Thanks Jim,
Your white hulthemia is absolutely gorgeous, someday I hope to create something that beautiful.
Paul
OK, got on and now I have to try out the new photo posting!
This is the only seedling of mine from 2011 that bloomed. It’s from an OP hip of What a Peach. I only had a handful of hips last winter and had very few germinations so this one’s kind of special to me even though it isn’t all that much to look at.

Yippee! It worked!
Thanks Paul, for the explanation. It’s interesting to see stippling is contained within Arkansana. I’m glad it has increased BS resistance, but wonder about its rust resistance. I know that’s not an issue for many, but it’s legion here in the south west coast. It will be interesting to see how the Buck stippling combines with the Arkansana stippling. Oddly, I had several stippled seedlings from pure HT breeding some years ago. Mrs. Oakley Fisher X Frances Ashton created pastel pinks and apricots, two of which where strongly stippled down the mid ribs of the petals.
Welcome, Seil! Your seedling is pretty. When are you going to try to give it a red “blotch” in the center? hehehe
This is the question given when trying to place a photo, I have a flickr account, can someone help in the steps.
Please note: this is not the Flickr website. You are allowing Phorum 5 to retrieve photos and videos from Flickr. These images can be inserted into your messages.
Phorum 5 wants to link to your Flickr account!! We need your authorization to access your Flickr account and retrieve your photos and videos.
Step 1: Authorize Phorum 5 Flickr Tools.
Step 2: You will be taken to Flickr, where you should Authorize the link between Flickr and Phorum 5. Flickr will display a nine-digit code, which you should copy into this box:
David, in the above, the word “tools” should be a clickable link, if I recall correctly. It isn’t obvious as it would be if it were strongly differently colored. Click on it (try both “tools” and “Flickr” as I can’t remember which) and you should be taken where you need to be. It will send a code to the email you registered with. Enter that code where it tells you to and you will have given permission.

This has made things very easy, thought I would give it a try and post this image of an offspring of (Whiz Kid X Lorraine Lee)
cheers Warren
Hi Warren, I presume this one is yours? '09 4E 18F 1' Rose You didn’t enter the origin. They’re rather interesting.
I think I have some red nail polish some where. I could just paint the roses red. It would be easier, lol!
Hi Kim;
Sorry , yep it is one of mine, have three seedlings out of that cross which I kept. This one has just gone through registration and the data is to be put into HMF down the track. Perfume of this one is very similar to the Hybrid musk’s and sends up canes containing around 100 blooms/ cane. What I like is the slight twist in the petal.
Warren
Thanks Kim, I have been in touch with Flickr, I need more photo’s for “review” before gaining access to it and Authorization…
