The Agriculture Canada Parkland rose breeding program is more than 40 years old, and with the English (David Austin) roses it must be the longest one in existence. I am planning to write an article reviewing its contribution to rose growing in cold climates. I may include a section on its value for further breeding programs, so I would like to hear about what cultivars have been useful for further breeding. Conversely, what cultivars that have been of limited or no value.
