During a quick research, I found a website about R. abyssinica and have attached the link https://grokipedia.com/page/rosa_abyssinica. Maybe you haven’t seen it yet. It contains some interesting information about this unique rose. There are also some details about its reproduction / pollination. Hopefully, this description will be of some help.
