Yesterday one of my seedlings set a flower, which to me looks like it have, some of Tantau’s Super Star colourations. It an OP of Tantau’s Santana, so maybe Santana have a Super Star relation. I can’t find anything about the Santana ancestors though.

Nice seedling! Is it fragrant? Is Santana the red Tantau climbing rose?

Yes it is fair fragrant, and Santana is a Climbing rose made by Tantau in 1985. So it could have some Super Star/Tropicana genes, but I can’t find out how Santana was made.
