Inermis Morletii only produce very few hips for me (2-3 per bush), most of them beeing one-seeded only. So definitly not a pod parent. For its thornlessness, once- but prolific bloom and nice red wood in winter I plan to use it, but haven’t yet.

I have Morletti from Roses Unlimited in my woodland garden. I have had 5-6 OP hips form in some years, but I never grew them on. It’s wood really is a beautiful purple in the cold weather. If you’d like dormant cuttings, e-mail me with when and what parts to take, and I’d be happy to send some to you. I’m in z7B, so I can’t rate hardiness.
