I received 8 (rugosa #3 x R. glauca) x OP seedlings, and OP seeds from the same cross, from Joan a few weeks ago. One of the 8 seedlings is about to bloom. These are seedlings that germinated this year so I assume this one will be a repeat bloomer since it’s setting a bud at a young age. there is a spectrum of glauca coloring on each of these and the one that’s about to bloom has slight coloring. The leaves, while somewhat rugose, feel like suede. Another of these seedlings has good purplish coloring to it and I’m hoping this one will be a repeat bloomer. I hope to post a pic in the next few days.
