'Maypole' - A repeating Canadian R. arkansana selection

Hi Max

Thanks for reminding me of this rose. As I posted on HMF, it is extinct as far as I know. However, an excursion to look for it at the original site would make for a fun two day vacation. According to Dad’s notes, it blooms in July after the acicularis and woodsii are finished. Any rose on that quarter section blooming mid-summer would be interesting to collect. It shouldn’t be too difficult to locate the land owner. I’ll let you know what I find.
