Hulthemia propagation

Can you post them here? I’m sure everyone here would LOVE to see them. I know I would!!!

It is not certain that the e-mail function is working on this site. So here’s a contact for Mr. Shorafa. I teach at a university and have been trying hard to make contact with someone in your country to obtain some seeds of the Hulthemia species. All of the repeat-flowering hybrid lines currently available came from a single seed source, perhaps a single cross to more conventional roses. We would like to introduce more germplasm. One of the group members has a U.S. Dept of Agriculture permit for seeds. To be legal an importation needs to come here with a form that he could send to you, if I get your mailing address.

Write directly to me (more private, no hackers or viruses will see). My e-mail is ldavis at (@) ksu.edu which has strong security in place.

Hi Larry,

Let us know what you find out. It would be interesting to see if Hulthemia persica pollen would be compatible with some of the fertile hybrids.

Not sure wether it’s proper for me to join the fun here, but I would say that budding is most likely going to be obsolete in commercial rose production, so for any new variety to have a commercial future, it better be easy to grow on its own roots.

Jacques, I hope so, but trends are hard to reverse. The biggest PR corps. in the world are busy trying to repair bad reputations.

Hi Mojtaba!

I sent you a private email, please let me know here if you received it or not.
