As one who is not really crossing anything post-Katrina, I was wondering about soliciting some very broad show-and-tell images of some of your most exciting crosses lately. For my vicarious thrills, dontcha know…
I realize this will be largely redundant as many have posted such on individual threads, but with fewer opportunities for crossing, and most of previous years’ seedlings probably coming along, I thought it might be fun to have a sort of recap of folks’ favorites.
I have nothing to show really.
I’m waiting on a second flush of blooms from one of Joan’s seeds she shared (Mr. Nash x Rugelda) which is the most promising thing I’ve got thus far. (Bloom was chomped by a katydid at a very young age, and grew quite deformed, but appeared that it could resemble Moonsprite in form. Plant wants to be big and thorny and rather healthy.)
But generally, I got nothin’ this year…
…So any vicarious thrills would be appreciated…
