If they do combine their efforts, Peter, I hope they go with the American Rose Trials for Sustainability acronym. A.R.T.S. sounds a lot better than AGRT ;^)

Thanks Peter, that’s it. I didn’t take notes.

Anybody want to trade fungi?
While I applaud our goals for horizontal resistance, the idea of trading pathogens and introducing them to new areas kinda makes me cringe. (Is it just me?)
My suggestion was tounge in cheek. I think we all have enough local diseases. I don’t ever see me turning my lower 1/2 acre into a fungus research facility.
I use a simple method. If the leaves stay green and clean that’s the ones that get the most attention as a group. So far that’s First kiss ( has seven species in background), Dynasty (50%), Ebb Tide(50%), Strike it Rich(most), Chihuly(some), Rainbow Sorbet(some), all that comes to mind right now and these are seedlings. There a lot of marginal ones.
A few that are not good or pass on disease are Joycie( a lot of crosses, only saved three with better growth), Altissimo, Elizabeth Taylor, Playboy(but saved about 20). There a lot more but some where saved just because no decedents are listed.
And of course there are about 50 new roses here and some should give good seedlings.
