Has anyone tried Refulgence

Has anyone tried Refulgence - a sweetbriar from the early 1900s - for breeding for fragrant leaved rose bushes.

I ask this as my bush has set OP hips (2) for the first time, and has my hopes up. I’ve tried using its pollen on Bonica, but did not get any germinations.

Can anyone add any info?

If you find out pass on the news to here. I’m on the same quest like you. I’ve been using Applejack, Lady Penzance and Greenmantle.
