God's Work

Thank you Jinks. I agree with Paul’s assessment - well said! and glad to know that my comments were taken as intended. Not knowing many on the forum personally, I still feel this is a circle of friends that share a common passion. I appreciate the friendships here.

Me too! This is a marvelous bunch!

Yup, that it is. And, it works because of the integrity each shows and the benefit of the doubt each gives the other. Kim

Hi Kim! Thanks for your thoughtful concern. Yes, my daughter and family are settled in a place now until their new home is rebuilt. Its been a long couple of months but they are coping quite well and someday perhaps it will be just a faded memory for them, I hope. And God has worked in their situation enormously, miracles do happen.

For others who are curious about what I am talking about. My daughters’ house burn down on Christmas Eve, but luckily they were not home when it happened. They did lose their dog and many keepsakes but they have their lives so we are very much grateful. They will be getting a new house build real soon and my 2 grandchildren are very excited about that. It has been a very rough couple of months but there has been so many people that have donated so many things that they are just overwhelmed with stuff that they are going to have to rent a storage shed to keep it all. Some of it will go to others who also are in need. My daughter stayed with me until the incusrance company could find them a place. Everday is a jouney for them now but it also is making them stronger and hopefully wiser.

if you feel bad about your ‘tinkering in gods nature’ you can do as Thomas Fairchild did, make a donation

cheers

Bernhard

Thank you Bernhard. I’d never heard the story of Thomas Fairchild.
