Carefree Sunshine as pollen parent

The following are crosses that gave hips when Carefree Sunshine was used as the pollen parent:

1 hip, unknown white once blooming climber.

2 hips, Folksinger.

2 hips, (Folksinger X (William Baffin X OP))

1 hip, Prairie Harvest.

1 hip, (Prairie Harvest X R-15)

2 hips, Illusion.

3 hips, (Illusion X William Baffin).

1 hip, unknown red repeat blooming climber.

2 hips (George Vancouver X John Davis).

1 hip, (Calocarpa X Nutkana).

1 hip (Park Direktor Riggers X (Ivory Fashion X RSMK-1)).

1 hip, (Carefree Beauty X Heritage).

1 hip, Leverkusen.

1 hip, Germingston Gold.

From the mothers that are already yellow, I expect yellow offspring with a possible change of growth habit, and/or an increase in disease resistance and/or winter hardiness.

From the others, I am hoping for a different shade of color from the mother with a possible change of growth habit, and/or an increase in disease resistance and/or winter hardiness.

How do you like Germinston Gold? I was going to order that but am ordering Toprose instead.

Both Germinston Gold and Berolina are disease resistant and winter hardy in my no spray, no winter protect, zone 5 garden. They both have nice flowers but neither has a lot of blooms during the season.

Yeah, Berolina has never had a drop of disease in…12 years? I stopped spraying many years (4-5?) ago. I have one kept seeding of Selfridges x Freedom in an attempt to tame it’s size but the blooms often come out lighter than the parent.
