Reading up in the thread, Julie asked me to keep her posted on the foliage issue I’d had on Cancan. The plants out in the field are basically surviving but not thriving. They’ve not been able to build themselves up into anything impressive. My two plants in a mulched and irrigated garden bed are looking great.
Reading my own previous comments about using Cancan pollen, it is odd that I don’t have any seedlings from it. It is possible that I was using the pollen on non-hardy roses like Midnight Blue and that the seedlings just didn’t survive.
