Natalie, consider yourself herewith let-knowed.

“Thankfully, we currently have no desire to use banksaie in our breeding!”

…Well, I really think you are missing out on a potentially interesting species. (What else you got with yellow flowers and no BS?)

That is too bad about Pretty Lady in TX.

I am still playing with R. b. lutescens. Tigris is a strong yellow diploid, but it isnt really something I’d try with R. banksia.

So far, 1-72-1Hugonis (at least here).

No! I am sticking out my tounge and wagging my finger in my ears! (Isn’t that what any good scientist does?..)

And, if you any of your get the idea that you need to call/email Dr. Byrne and discuss it with him, I will take a chain saw to the two LARGE banksaie bushes that are growing near the greenhouse! ;p

I will be happy to share our method, but currently I’m trying to get things ready for a trip I’m about to take. (Work, not pleasure.)

Hopefully, I will be able to get some picts together and post our method in the next few days. It really just depends on how much time I’ll be spending in airports. (Ah, the joys of making it through airport security!)

Thanks Nat
