Abstract: “The article features the Alta Scotch rose or Rosa spinosissima, a botanical variety native to Siberia. The rose’s name originated from the Altai Mountains on the western edge of Mongolia. A description of some of the rose’s characteristics is provided. Some of the hybrids include Butterball, a single pale yellow tinged with pink, and Beauty of Dropmore, a double pale yellow.”
