I finally finished extracting this year’s seeds and putting them into stratification. I ended up with 4513 seeds from 502 hips. I’m excited about my crosses with R. webbiana:

That’s a lot of crosses/hips!

Thanks! I was able to keep the deer and other varmints out of my garden, and this is the most hips I’ve gotten in one season. The total could have been higher. I did a lot of crosses with low fertility parents and 38% of my hips failed.
